Dr. Nakhate has spent the last twenty years living in different parts of New Jersey: North, Central and South and considers himself a true Jersey local. He got his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from New York. His educational journey started at The College of New Jersey, where he received a Bachelors in Science in Biology and then went on to get a Masters in Biotechnology at the University of Pennsylvania with a focus on Pharmaceutical Technology and Engineering Entrepreneurship. During his summers, he used to work at WHO sponsored health clinics in surgical units, which is where he realized his dream to pursue dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Nakhate successfully completed his General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY and worked for several years in South Jersey, before moving back to North Jersey, that he now calls home once again.

It was during their time at Montefiore Medical Center that both Dr. Nakhate and Chan formed a deep personal friendship and professional relationship. With a similar approach to treating patients: one with compassion, an emphasis on forming long term relationships, and going the extra mile to ensure the best quality of care, they had since decided some day to work with each other in working towards this common goal. Both doctors, firm believers in lifelong learning have since spent hundreds of hours advancing their skills by attending seminars and courses emphasizing in cosmetic rehabilitation, advanced orthodontics and endodontics, implant dentistry, botox and dermal fillers to help with “TMJ” or jaw pain as well as alternate “needle-less” ways of treating patients with conscious sedation.
